FESCO can use Russkaya Troika for transit from China, South Korea

MOSCOW, Dec 16 (PRIME) -- Far-Eastern Shipping Company (FESCO), the owner of 75% minus one share in Russkaya Troika, a company owning 60-feet and 80-feet fitting-container platforms, plans to consolidate the asset to develop transit from China, South Korea and Japan, CEO Alexander Isurin told reporters on Monday.

“Russkaya Troika… about 400 platforms, which Russkaya Troika leases, correspond to the 25% stake we are talking about. We want to consolidate Russkaya Troika to do something with it, we are thinking about projects… One of the ideas we had is to carry out transit service from China, Korea, Japan, which we are developing, under the Russkaya Troika brand,” Isurin said.

Russian Railways owns 25% plus one stake in Russkaya Troika, which it plans to sell at an auction. TransContainer will compete for the asset.
